today was a bit better than yesterday. i got a lot done at work. i went to a class at the gym. it was really hard, actually. it's not usually that challenging, so that was nice. i got to see s. for a bit and help her pick out an outfit for going out tonight. i gave myself a pedicure. all in all, not a bad day.

one thing i love so much about living downtown is being able to walk to work. it makes me happy that i have a minimum of 40 minutes of exercise built into my day. in the morning, it's a pretty brisk walk, too, because it would seem that i'm always running late.

anyway, tomorrow is a holiday, how strange to have a day off in the middle of the week. but i'm quite excited about it. i've got a lot planned. starting with hopefully being up early enough to beat most other people to the seawall for a quick run.

and so... before i pass out:

today's food:

breakfast:
plain yogurt
blueberries
honey
small handful of trailmix
earl grey tea

snack:
mint tea
half lemon zest luna bar

lunch:
salad with grape tomatoes, asparagus, mushrooms, hardboiled egg, prosciutto, and vinaigrette
a few carob chips

snack:
cranberry nut luna bar

dinner:
SUSHI!
avocado maki
spinach gomaae
1 piece tuna nigiri
1 piece tamago nigiri
mint tea
fresh mango for dessert

(i was hungry again after getting home from s.'s house for some reason, so... )
snack:
whole grain toast and avocado
small handful of trail mix

i'm so sleepy.
