this article is stupid and condescending, and i think kind of even having a term for this particular kind of pickiness, that i come by SO honestly and have never sought to develop further, is kind of ... i don't know ... i sort of find it insulting. i'm not particular for you or you or you or some random jkids -- i'm particular for me.

ok maybe a little bit of it is for you but mostly me.

anyway i just found it, albeit stupid and condescending, an interesting read. even though it is from 2001. it's ok though because apparently the movement is still very alive and well.

i am glad to know that there are others out there in the world like me, who would spend 6 months looking for the PERFECT alarm clock and rely on their (perfect) cell phone in the meantime lest they be forced to spend money on something ugly.
