trashy tuesday!

sooo... i got my wish at work! a couple of interesting (and time consuming!) projects actually found me yesterday. which is so great, because i thought i'd have to dig them up! so i'm feeling engaged and being productive. my job, while not perfect for me, is pretty rad sometimes.

today was trashy tuesday... meaning, we got together at s.' house for sushi, wine, and some canada's next top model awesomeness. it was good times. i had to leave when 'america's got talent' came on, though. too depressing.

last night i was up so late making salads for lunches this week and baking oatmeal apple raisin muffins! with walnuts! i may have made a few too many substitutions or something, because these muffins - while they taste amazing - are NOT pretty:
